Molly Rose Reed of Underhill Rose set to release single “Thank You” Nov 2025

Asheville, NC – November 4, 2025 – Acclaimed songwriter and vocalist Molly Rose Reed, best known as half of the beloved Americana duo Underhill Rose, is stepping into her own light with the release of her first solo single, “Thank You,” available on all streaming platforms in late November.

After years of international touring and four celebrated albums with Underhill Rose, Molly’s musical journey paused when she welcomed her second child into the world. Just days after birth, she received news that her newborn would require a series of life-saving surgeries. What followed was a season of uncertainty, anchored by the unwavering support of family, friends, and a compassionate community.

“I began noticing the helpers all around me,” says Reed. “Friends brought meals, family members came to appointments, and I received simple messages that said ‘I love you’ with no expectation for a response. When my son finally recovered, the first thing I did was pick up my guitar—and this song poured out.”

The result is “Thank You”—a song that transcends personal gratitude to become a universal anthem of appreciation. “I wrote it for the people who helped me, but it’s for anyone who wants to show gratitude,” Molly explains. “Let it belong to them, too.”

Originally slated for release in 2024, “Thank You” was delayed when Hurricane Helene devastated Reed’s Asheville home, displacing her family for months. Now, settled back in their restored bungalow, Molly returns with renewed purpose and an even deeper sense of appreciation.

Produced and recorded by Aaron Austin of Caitlin Krisko & The Broadcast, the single features Dan Bailey (Father John Misty) on drums and was mastered by Grammy Award-winner Adam Ayan. Reed reflects, “Aaron is an exceptional producer whose care and craftsmanship shine through every detail. I’m already excited for what comes next.”
